Photo A Day update...

LOL this seems to becoming a 'photo' blog ;)
I continue on with February Photo A Day challenge over @ fat mum slim...
Day 15 - phone
Day 16 - something new...hehe couldn't get any newer than this ;) it still has it's egg attached! There is huge excitement in our house over the spiny leaf insects, think about 20 eggs have hatched so far!!!

Day 17 - time...sadly we don't have a clock in the house, only the digital time on an appliance & when we lose power...we rely on mobile phones ;)

Day 18 - drink...I did enjoy a 'girls night' out this night & bubbles were consumed, but not this bottle, not sure when to crack this one...I am a little intriqued ;) DH brought it home for me, it's just the gold flakes that has thrown me!

Day 19 - something you hate to do...haha that would have to be ironing! I don't iron...thankfully I've got a gorgeous husband who I'm able to sweet talk into doing it most of the time!

Day 20 - handwriting...my son is constantly writing & drawing, creating stuff! Haha who knows, can't read most of it with his made up names but it is special to him! :)

Day 21 - a favourite photo of you...this was a hard one! I know it's really bad, but I'm super critical of photos of myself, it's something I'm working on ;) but this photo was taken by a super gorgeous friend & I tend to use it a lot!

Day 22 - where you work...wouldn't it be lovely to get paid for this kind of work ;) my very embarrassing scrap desk at the moment!

Day 23 - your shoes...if I'm not wearing runners, it's these!

Day 14 of Photo A Day - heart...my son created this as the background of my computer :) such a sweet thing to discover!

Photo A Day update!

Bit of a catch up on my Photo A Day challenge...sorry, was a busy one last week ;)
Day 6 - dinner...LOL almost forgot this one, this is what was left of my chicken ceasar salad.
Day 7 - button...this is the button I pushed to get to coffee this morning, haha I needed that this morning!

Day 8 - sun...there was absolutely no sign of the sun this day, but with kids in the house, it's always sunny! :)

Day 9 - front door...I love the light & patterns that comes thru the window in our front door.

Day 10 - self portrait...arrrgh, what a day to have to do this one! Considering how I felt, LOL this photo could have been a lot worse ;)

Day 11 - makes you happy...LOL this day could not have been more perfect considering I was happily enjoying retreat...talk about scrap happy!!! :)

Day 12 - inside your closet...hmmm, thinking I need more colour in my closet ;)

Day 13 - blue...I'm hoping the blue sky stays with us today.

That brings me all up to date on the february photo a day challenge...I'm loving seeing everyone elses.

I've enjoyed a brilliant weekend away on retreat, so hopefully I'll get the finishing touches on my layouts & upload soon.

Feb Photo A Day!

February Photo A Day!
Day 4 - a stranger...
I have to confess, this one took me completely out of my comfort zone! Haha how do you take a photo of a stranger? Do simply randomly take it without their knowledge? but then being placed on my blog, I thought it can't contain their face. I thought of taking a pic while driving (obviously not me driving) & with the motion it would be all blurred! May have been perfect had I remembered when I got in the car ;) Whilst out having dinner, I noticed that I could take a pic into the kitchen & because of the design you would only see their bodies...perfect, I was off to ask! LOL that was until a sweet young blonde thing did exactly that??? LOL all I could think was she was doing the same photo challenge!!! I realised I had to look at this from a different view...here I was, out dining, drinking, having some laughs & dancing with the girls...that in itself, I'm a stranger to! ;)
Hence my glass of wine...

Haha though downloading the photos today I discovered this...

Day 5 - 10am...let's say after last night, I hadn't ventured out of bed & had only got as far as grabbing the laptop ;) Gotta love my hubby, he had even made me coffee...so sweet!

I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend :) & has a brilliant week ahead!

My eldest does this all the time to me, while I'm on the phone or across the room...she simply is the sweetest thing & I couldn't think of a more perfect photo for hands! :)

I love the challenges over @ White With 1 because every month they really push me to think...& once again, I had fun with this months challenge of...white + lemon + 3 photos

"This Year" is a layout about my desire to become organised! LOL...creating calm out of the chaos! I will get there...in time ;)

My Photo a Day for today - words
I went with a single word...buddy, because this word is the source of huge excitement in our house today :) my son finally got to meet his kindy buddy! He is so proud & excited to be responsible to looking after this boy!
