123 Challenge Blog!

Good morning! The February challenge is up over at 123 Challenge Blog & it's certainly a beauty!

Here's what I did with this inspiration...starting 1st with a palette knife & paint. I added glitter to clear gel & then applied that, again with a palette knife. I especially love it over the painted areas.

The final layout with my crazy girls...gosh, where did the time go? How I miss those carefree days.

My apologies for the wonky border...didn't photograph this one well ;)
Check out the rest of the teams fabulous creations HERE...such a variety of inspiration. I do hope you'll join in this month.
Thank you for stopping by...as always, a huge, huge thank you for all your lovely comments. I do appreciate each & every one of them, especially the time you take to leave me one x
Happy scrapping!

Show us Your Stuff February Challenge!

Back again with the fabulous challenge over @ Show us Your Stuff this month! Just a tad scary to make the connection that we are already in the 2nd month of the year!!!

This months challenge has been designed by DT member Ali Abernethy, & here's what she has for you...

This is my take on the challenge...

Since I had green elements I thought I would pull out the microbeads...LOL what a disaster! I swear more microbeads are scattered all over my work space & especially underneath my table than on the layout, but they do look good. My handmade item is my final piece from Flutterby Designs, which meant I had to do some shopping this week ;)

Check out the gorgeous creations from the rest of the DT HERE. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Welcome to Kraft Plus Challenge!

Good morning! The 1st challenge over @ Kraft Plus is live...woohoo! There has been such a wonderful 'buzz' surrounding this new venture, behind the scenes & publicly...it's fabulous to be a part of it. Enough from me, here it is...mango breeze colour inspiration!

I totally adored these colours & this is what I did with them...

The background was created with Distress Paints, their colours were a perfect match :)

Pop over to the Kraft Plus blog HERE to check out the amazing inspiration from the rest of the team & sponsors too. I can't wait to see what you do with this.
