What a week!

But I seriously can't complain...I've got a lot to be grafeful for! Always better to focus on the good, than dwell on the bad ;)
One of those good things for this week is finally scrapping a challenge over @ Scrapboutique. I loved this challenge that Em set...all male layout, no flowers & add a moustache (though this was not compulsory) I knew instantly which photos to use...Movember photos from 2 years ago!

Thanks for stopping by, your comments are always appreciated :)

Happy scrapping!

Scrap the Boys

This is my super cute boy, dressed as Superman...after opening his 'santa sack' on Christmas morning. He was so proud of himself...hehe I guess Superman wasn't really known for wearing pants!!! ;)

Thanks for visiting & happy scrapping.
Have a brilliant weekend.

123 Challenge

I had fun completing this months 123 challenge using the word 'live'; colour blue & doodling. This layout is to my kids, in particular to the eldest after her recent trip. No matter how painful for me, I always want to encourage them, to 'live their dreams'.

Thanks for all the lovely comments recently, I really do appreciate them.
Happy scrapping.

White with 1

Regular readers of my blog will know that I really struggle with scrapping yellow, so this months WW1 criteria was certainly a challenge for me. Hehe finding yellow in my stash was a challenge in itself ;) hence why I went with the paint. The other criteria was to write directly on the page...rather please with how my 'lemon pucker face' layout turned out!

Thanks for visiting...happy scrapping! :)

100 posts!!!

Wow...I can't believe I'm @ 100 posts! So it is completely wonderful on my 100th post to share this 'Beautiful Blogger Award' that I received from the very talented Cathy...seriously, I can't tell you how much it means to me! :) Thank you!!!

The deal is to share 10 things about me, that you would not know...
1. I'm terrified of spiders...& dentists
2. First time on a giant slide was with my daughter...hehe & I was for security ;)

6. I love books, but rarely find time to read...it's now become a holiday indulgence
7. I wanted to be a fashion designer & was enrolled in design school, but a 'holiday' job turned into something more
8. This year I celebrated 20 years of marriage with the man I met in my teens
9. I've sailed the 'Sydney to Southport' race, twice
10. Unlike my son, I've never aspired to burp the alphabet!!!

Though there are many people that inspire me, I'm giving this bit a little twist & sharing the 10 places I find inspiration...
1. PageMaps
2. Tim Holtz...so love him!
3. Aussie Scrap Source

Kraft It Up!

This month's criteria for KIU was decorative edges...
I had fun creating all sorts of decorative edges with punches, stamping & glimmer misted doily...& I absolutely loved the Heidi Swapp ghost frame for this.

Thanks for stopping by & happy scrapping!

Scrapping update!

Last weekend Michelle & I escaped reality & retreated!!! It was fantastic to get away & meet new people, including the lovely Peta...& in between loads of laughs, food & fun, I did manage to scrap! Woohoo!!!
Here's some of what I got done...

This first layout is showcasing my son's delightful habit of using tomato sauce on absolutely everything...& I mean everything!

'smilin' boy' was inspired from using Sketch # 141 from Pencil Lines.

Materials for 'new do' is from the gorgeous July Girl kit from What Is Old Is New that I recently won.

Thanks for stopping by...as always, a huge thank you for the lovely comments :) they do bring a smile to my face!
Happy scrapping!

Forever Always Creative Kit

I loved this kit the moment I saw it...hehe being that I'm a huge fan of green, I was inspired to create instantly! To have a closer look at the latest Creative Kit & Sonia's gorgeous layouts, check it out here.

I've even made use of Sonia's clever packaging, with my tissue & paper bag flower.

The November sketch is up too, check out the details & Kye's layout based on this sketch.
