December dash!!!

I know I said this the previous month, but I'm sure it's speeding up!!! Where is the time going?
Sadly on the scrapping front...nothing is doing. :( Hopefully that changes soon with the end of the school year.
This is the only layout to share this month. It was for the December Forever Always newsletter...

Hoping someone is scrapping out there...

Lou inspired...

Whilst @ retreat, the lovely Lou asked us to scrap a layout of her. She gave me photo transparencies to work with, so with her in mind...I created this!

She also gave the DT a 'challenge'! LOL, for such a 'minimalist', she certainly gave us a lot of product to use. ;) This is what I came up with...I didn't have a photo @ the time, but have since added a photo taken by Lou @ retreat.

Happy scrapping!

Retreat scrappping!

Here are some of the layouts that I completed @ retreat...

This last one was for last months challenge over @ Scrap the Boys...simply didn't get it in on time, but did have fun creating it!

November Forever Always Newsletter!

The November Forever Always Newsletter is up...you'll find it here. Check out who is our new GDT for the month, as well as lots of 'inspiration' with Renae's 'What Inpires Us' article.
These are my layouts for the newsletter...
'Star Wars' photo credit goes to my SIL Cindy & Kye...I cannot thank these ladies enough! My camera died whilst taking the 1st photo of the day!!!
Inspiration wise...I'm a huge fan of Scenic Route papers & the stars, with their red & black was perfect for this theme!
The title for this next one was 'lifted' straight from the local newspaper after that incredible dust storm.
Again, being a fan of Scenic Route...simply loved this paper, even keeping the scraps from a previous layout to use!

What happened to October???

Can't believe another month has rolled by!

I had a brilliant ending to October with the Forever Always Retreat
...lots of laughs, fabulous food, & fannnntastic company...talk about perfect 'time out'.

I had fun with a few girls who joined me in my retreat class...love how their layouts turned out, thanks ladies. We pulled out our scalpel & had a 'play' with the gorgeous Bella Sarah-Jane range.

Will update later my layouts from retreat...did manage to complete a few pages amongst all that fun!!!

Had a great start to September...scrapping wise, but sadly it's come to a complete halt! :(

This first layout was for a challenge set by our latest GDT...the lovely Miss Shelly. Criteria was * Old patterned paper from your stash *A big date on the page -use up some of those numbers * A pre digi photo. Thank you Shelly, had fun with this...& so brilliant to get thru some of those older photos.

This next one was for the September Cybercrop, using a Sketch courtesy of Becky Fleck & PageMaps

The next layout was for Renae's Recipe Scrap. Thank you Renae...I'm absolutely thrilled with the result, even though I somewhat strayed from your instructions! ;)

July Challenge Layouts

This month I've managed to complete a few blog challenges...woohoo! There has got to be some advantages of being stuck at home with sick kids.

The first one was for the Forever Always July Cybercrop, criteria being photo of sisters, only 2 pp & 50+ words of journaling.

The next one for the 1,2,3 Challenge, where we had to use an altered photo (how cool that I'd been playing with Jessica Sprague's Photo Editing class. Brushes from her House of 3), use paint on stamps & polka dots.
This one for White with 1...donimant colour white, plus purple & circles. Had fun with the glimmermist again & more photo editing!

This one for Puzzles Sketches using a speech bubble, 'once upon a time...', pinked edges & a rectangle. LOL, I couldn't go pass the title of 'once upon a time a very, very long time ago, my desk was clean!' It didn't last long!!!

Next one was for Scrap the Girls which was a colour challenge of black, orange, white & pink.

Scrapbooking @ Forever Always.

Wow, where did last month go??? It's been a very busy month for me, so sadly not much scrapping...well certainly not as much as I would like! There was so much happening over @ Forever Always, it would have been great to have participated more!

The first two layouts are for this months newsletter article on 'everyday' scrapping. LOL, can you tell where I spend most of my time when at home???

'Natural Beauty' is my take on this months sketch.

The next layout was for the 'Sonia Says' challenge...or in this case 'Shelly Says' following her list of criteria.

I did manage to complete a layout for the June Cybercrop...this was Renae's recipe scrap.

& the following two are from the 'Birthday Extravaganza'...
...sketch challenge

& one of the colour challenges.
