ArtStacks with Deb Weiers!

Hello, I'm back today to share more of the gorgeous and what I found, totally inspirational Deb Weiers Wonkly Faces and Wonky Background packs from ArtStacks. It may have been the combination of receiving these packs and the fact that I hadn't sat at my desk, for too long, but I created a number of pages in quick succession. Haha anyone that has scrapped with me will know that this is NOT a common occurrence.

Granted, as this page shows, all the hard work was already done for me. I do feel like I'm cheating using Deb's gorgeous pieces, but if you are like me and a little time poor, it's great to be able to put together a fabulous page. Here I've stamped the page, originally in blue ink, but it wasn't the 'look' I was after, so went over it with blue paint. I then stenciled in some red shapes, most of which ended up under the piece of Wonky Background. Added a thin strip of the black and white striped paper, again was mostly covered up. I cut a small circle out of the translucent paper from the Wonky Background pack. The figure is from the Wonky Faces pack...isn't she brilliant! Final step was the painted circles using an old toilet paper insert...I'm sure I should find my coffee stain stamp, but we are looking at speed art here ;) nothing is quicker than this.

I thought this 'original art' stamp by Natalie May was so appropriate for this.

Thank you for stopping by, remember to pop over to the ArtStacks Blog as there are some amazing creations over there...you can find it HERE.

June Kraft+ Challenge

Hello! Have you seen the fabulous MONOCHROME CHALLENGE over at Kraft+ Challenges?

The hardest thing is settling on one colour ;) I chose yellow, mainly because I wanted to use the Kaszazz sunflower stamp and stencil. I've used a combination of paint and a hint of white gloss spray for my stenciled flowers. I then stamped the sunflowers and coloured them in using Natalie May's 'Words of Wisdom' Flat Magicals...they are seriously gorgeous!

A final sprinkling of gloss spray, after some journaling and a title and we are done. I've completed this in my Dina Wakley 6x6 art journal...I love this kraft paper, so smooth and a fabulous thickness. I can't wait to get my hands on the new larger one, it's going to work a treat for future Kraft+ Challenges.

Pop over HERE to see the gorgeous creations from the rest of the Design Team.

I hope you'll join us this month.

Happy crafting!
