Scrapping to share :)

Can't believe this month is nearly over...everything is moving a little too fast for me at the moment! So many challenges still on my 'to do' list...I've got to make some changes around here & allow myself more scrapping time, without the guilt!
This first share is a card I made for my DD's teacher...she has given up a lot of personal time to help these kids & deserved a 'thank you'!

'Is that really you?' is for Scrap the Girls current 'messy' challenge, using 'less than lady-like' photos with a messy technique. I've used stamping & misting on my layout of my eldest DD in the mud! Haha these photos still blow my mind, as this is my 'princess' who has always been immaculate from a very young age!

'My happy boy' layout is for Kraft It Up & their colour challenge of kraft, blk, green & yellow.

Thank you to those that take the time to comment, it means a lot to me! :)
Happy scrapping everyone!

Layouts to share.

Here are the final layouts that I started @ retreat.
I simply couldn't resist these gorgeous 'Websters' papers, though found them rather difficult to work with, as I didn't want to cover any of them up! ;)

& this 'tongue in cheek' layout of my DH on the phone to work whilst we were on holiday!

Thank you for all my well wishes & lovely comments, they always bring a smile to my face & brighten the day. I am feeling a lot better...it's certainly taken a while to shake this bug off! It's so beautiful to have this warmer weather.
Happy scrapping!!!

Retreat layout

Hehe...note 'layout', not 'layouts'!!! This was the only layout that I managed to finish at retreat...how sad is that! Grrr, hate being sick...such a huge waste of time!
This layout was for a challenge set by the gorgeously talented Lou...we had to use everything that she supplied with the only addition of 'scrapping staples', thankfully with Lou that includes glimmermist & stamping ;)

Happy scrapping everyone.
Thank you, as always, for your lovely comments...I do appreciate them :)

Scrap the Boys

This layout for the current Scrap the Boys challenge of using flowers & getting in touch with his feminine side was one I started @ retreat. Hehe it's a layout that had to be done fast, before my boy no longer saw the funny side...he's going to hate it soon ;) The photo was altered in photoshop whilst I did the free online Jessica Sprague class, I love how it turned out.

More retreat layouts to follow.

Forever Always Sketch & more!

The Forever Always August sketch is up! We would absolutely love it, if you gave it a go. Here is my take...

A couple of months ago, the lovely Sue used this flower in one of her challenges...I didn't get a chance to make them at the time, but have been hanging out ever since. You can find the tutorial here, they are so simple & gorgeous...I couldn't stop at just one!
On my 'smile' layout, I've used red cardstock & combined it with the gorgeous prima papers.

On my 'changed' layout, I've made it out of patterned paper & was very rough, giving it a 'less perfect' look (also a bit flatter ;) in the page protector & album).

Here is a close-up...

& again, on a birthday card, with a bit of kindy glitz on the edges. Hehe, did I say I really loved this flower ;)

Sadly, not much to show for my retreat weekend :(
Brilliant weekend, as usual...thank you Sonia! It was fantastic to catch up with everyone again, but I was sick & my mojo was completely GONE!
Bring on the warmer weather!!!
Happy scrapping & thanks for visiting :)
