Slack blogger...

I know...I'm a super slack blogger!!! To be honest, I haven't got anything to share...this month has been crazy & sadly I don't have much to show for it!

But catching up with this lady recently at the Brisbane Papercraft Expo, reminds me that I haven't uploaded my very 1st publication in Scrapbooking Memories Vol 13 No 4...

How funny that this inspirational woman is the focus of my 1st acceptance :) Photo credit to her friend Natalie...thanks! I'm thrilled to say (without jinxing it) there are a few more in the works...hehe it's still as exciting as the first!!!

As mentioned before, I spent the long weekend in Brisbane for the expo, where I was lucky enough to do both of the Louise Nelson classes! Wow, did I walk away with a host of new techniques & ideas...she really does look outside the box! If she is ever teaching your way, I highly recommend joining in...I loved them & am very happy with my creations!
I was also lucky enough to travel with two fabulously funny ladies, Michelle Winston & Michelle Sturrock, pictured here with myself & Lou.

Thank you girls for an absolutely brilliant weekend! :)

Thanks for stopping by & thank you for all your lovely comments...I really do appreciate them! x

Red Earth Road Trip!

I've joined in on the Red Earth Road Trip over @ Red Earth Scrapping! This is week # 1, starting in Cowra. LOL I had fun with this layout...I've had so much on this week, finding time to scrap was hard & even harder today was getting my creative brain into gear!!! I forgot the extra bonus item & have yet to stitch my buttons ;) but it's uploaded in time!

I'm also super excited to be heading up to Brisbane for the expo over the weekend, it's going to be fab! can't really concentrate on anything else, I'm like a big kid! :) Hope everyone has an equally enjoyable long weekend!

Thanks for stopping by...as always, huge thank you for all your lovely comments, they do mean so much to me! x

Creative update...

I have been creating over the past couple of weeks, just slowly...& hadn't had a chance to share ;)

This layout was created purely for the desire to scrap this gorgeous photo of my girl. It was one of those moments when you look at the person in front of you & think 'wow, when did you grow up!'

This next share is an album I made for a friends 40th...I knew she was having 'high tea' & thought it would be lovely to have an album to remember the event. This photo was taken before adding the ribbon to the rings...hehe pity I didn't think of taking the pic after, as it did look better ;)

& here's a close up of the cupcake, thought it was rather appropriate for high tea ;)

Thanks for stopping by & thank you for all your lovely comments :) they do mean a lot to me!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend &...

happy scrapping!

WW1

I had a lot of fun with this months WW1 challenge of...

white + red + circles or polka dots

'Who's red lipstick!' is my take on the challenge...hehe you've gotta love a boy who sneaks into his sisters lipstick stash!!!

Scrap The Girls June challenge!

Firstly I would like to let people know that I'm still having issues with Blogger & can't comment on most blogs...argggh, it's driving me nuts, I feel like I've lost my voice! Please know that I'm still 'ooohing & aaahing' over your gorgeous work...just silently at this stage. I know a lot of people are having the same issue, hopefully it will be sorted soon!

Now, back to our scheduled program...

I love a new month & all new challenges (albeit, the months are moving along too quickly for my liking) & I absolutely loved the current colour challenge over at Scrap the Girls such gorgeous girly colours of white/cream, light pink, bright pink & black.

Here is my take on the challenge...

Hehe 'Adore you' was actually my first take on the challenge, which I started one night! It wasn't until morning that I realised my colours were out...hehe I'd used purple rather than bright pink ;) LOL any excuse to scrap again!!!

Check out the other gorgeous creations by the Creative Team here.

Thanks for stopping by! :) As always, a huge thank you for taking the time to comment, I do love to read all your lovely words x
