123 Challenge Blog!

Back again with my final challenge reveal for the month....123 Challenge Blog!

I'll confess, the colour 'burgandy' had me slightly concerned...it's not a colour I typically used, but that is what is so brilliant about challenges. They push you outside your 'normal' & get you experimenting with things you don't normally do.

I used a burgandy water-colour pencil to draw a range of circles on my paper. The centre ones I added water with to blend them, the rest I left to show the pencil lines. Below is a close up...

My frame is actually the throw away piece from some gorgeous Dusty Attic frames, which I painted & added some black glitter to.

Hello again, I'm back with the fabulous September challenge for Show us you Stuff.

Here is my take on the challenge...

The background spots were created with a mask I had made years ago, before the huge array of masks that are out now. Below is a close up...

My handmade item is of course the flair from Flutterby Designs...haha if you hadn't already realised, I love them! ;)

Spring has sprung...how fabulous is that! I love Spring time :)
& you'll love the fabulous "Tri-hard" challenge over @ Kraft+ I absolutely adored this sketch by Em Stafrace...so gorgeous!

& here is my take on the challenge...

I had these cute triangle stickers from 7 Dots Studio which I thought would be perfect for this & it simply flowed from there. I do love a good sketch to get the creative ideas going & I can see myself using this one again! Totally gorgeous!

I loved this challenge...the colours, the wood, the daisies & who doesn't love Dr Seuss quotes!

I used dylusions paint with my splat stencil from Crafters Workshop...it's such a cool stencil :)

August 123 Challenge Blog!

Hello, I'm back today to share my DT layout for this month's challenge over @ 123 Challenge Blog.

This is my take on the challenge...
 

I fussy cut the butterflies...haha probably not the best thing to do late at night at retreat ;) I've had these photos for a while not quite knowing what to do with them...especially as they were already in circles, very Creative Memories ;) I totally loved this frame from Dusty Attic...I wish I had bought more of them!

August Kraft+ challenge!

Good morning! I have the amazing Zentangle challenge for you from Kraft+.

I'll confess, after creating my background, which was a lot of fun...I was a little stumped. I went with the 'less is more' philosophy and kept my layout fairly simple, as there was already so much detail with the doodling.
