Hello & welcome to another month! The Kraft+ November brings you the 'out of the closet' challenge! It's just a reminder that there is inspiration absolutely everywhere, even in your wardrobe ;) you just have to look
I loved this challenge, so much so, that it was completed months in advance ;) which is a real rarity for me! Below is the item of clothing that I drew my inspiration from...
It's one of those items that I've never worn (there was a bit of peer pressure to buy this while shopping with a friend), yet I haven't been able to give away. I guess now it's at least served some purpose. Also, considering it was a challenge from MY closet, I thought it was the perfect excuse to do a layout on me!
I've used the gorgeous Colour Blast in 'leather' on my background, simply smearing it on with a spatula, like I do with the paint. The look doesn't come up in the photo, but the gloss is simply gorgeous. To represent the bling on the sweater, I've used a a2z scraplet's stencil & some Colour Blast in 'bling'. On the metal peacock, I've painted the tail feathers with Glimmerglam & added some extra bling.
As always, the rest of the team have blown me away with their creations...make sure you pop over to the blog HERE to check them all out. I do hope you have as much fun as I did with this challenge...I look forward to seeing what you all come up with.
Thank you for stopping by...as always, a huge thank you for any comments you may leave me. I do appreciate each & every one of them x

Kraft+ October 'Blast from the Past' challenge!
Yikes...how did it become October 4th!!! This year is vanishing all too quick!
A new month means new challenges & Kraft+ have a beauty again for you...
These fabulous graphics got stuck in my head, so when I saw this Kaisercraft piece of paper on a friends desk while at retreat, I said how perfect it would be for this challenge! That very beautiful friend gave me the piece of paper, so it simply had to be used even when I realised the challenge wasn't the graphics at all, but it was still perfect as it too fitted for 'old papers'.
I've also used eyelets & vellum on my layout! Haha I hadn't realised just how many eyelets I have in my stash! They may need to make a comeback to simply use them up ;)
Pop over HERE to check out the amazing creations by the rest of the team. I look forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge...perfect excuse to get through some old stash!

August Kraft+
Hello! I'm finding it a little scary how quickly time is flashing by...but, the bonus of a new month is new challenges! This month over @ Kraft+ it's all about 'tassels'. Here is the inspiration board...
I can't remember where I picked up my tassel from, but as soon as I saw this challenge, I put it aside for my layout. Haha the challenge was then on between myself & the cats...boy did they love that tassel ;) It did finally make it onto my layout, just looking a tad worse for wear!
For my background I've used a combination of stencils, the Crafters Workshop script with texture paste & my current GDT stencil from A2Z Scraplets with Colourblast paste. These fabulous papers & die cuts from Kaisercraft complete the layout. Here is a close-up of my details...
Pop over HERE to see the amazing creations by the rest of the team. I have to confess, I'm a bit of a 'fan girl' when it comes to this team, each month they amaze me with their creations & they are a wonderfully supportive bunch...I truly do feel blessed to be a part of it.
Thanks for stopping by...as always, thank you for your lovely comments. I truly do appreciate them, especially the time you take to leave me one xo

A2Z Scraplets!
Good morning! Today I'm sharing my 2nd GDT layout for A2Z Scraplets.
Anyone that regularly follows me would already know of my love for stencils, so it was extra special to get a couple in my pack! In combination of this panorama photo & this fabulous Fading Circular Dot stencil, I wanted to keep the overall layout simple, keeping the focus on those two things.
I used Colour Blast paste with the stencil, it gives it a lovely shimmery look (which you can slightly see in the pic below), so ideal with a sunrise photo. The lovely 'hello' chipboard is also from A2Z...isn't it gorgeous!

A2Z Scraplets July Mood Board
Hello, I hope you are all enjoying the weekend...at least we enjoyed a little bit of sun here.
Have you seen the gorgeous mood board over @ A2Z Scraplets? I loved it & couldn't wait to play...
Here's where the inspiration took me...
I was lucky enough to have all those colours in Tim Holtz distress paint & with those umbrella's simply saw a background of circles! I was also drawn to the arrow & the pencils, though I've used scribble pen to stand out, over pencils, with the A2Z arrow stencil. I loved the quote, which lead me to this gorgeous 'love you' script wood title, already in black which I loved as it was.
Thanks for stopping by. As always, a huge thank you for any comments you may leave me...they are very much appreciated, especially the time you take to leave me one x

Retreat scrapping!
The previous weekend I was lucky enough to be at retreat, it was a rather productive one for me :) gotta love that! A lot of it was for DT commitments, but here's a couple just for me.
The background for this one was started the previous retreat, just playing with Dylusions paint...I love the vibrancy of these paints. While at this retreat, I sat opposite the lovely Lisette & she had this fabulous stencil from Scrapmatts...I simply had to borrow. That's the beauty of retreats, the sharing of supplies, as well as the sharing of knowledge & simply the fun of them! I teamed the stencil with Colourblast paste which matched beautifully with the paint, I added some stamping & embellishments.
For this next one, I've layered various stamps to create my background. It's great to get out the much neglected stamps & play.
Thanks for stopping by, as always a huge thank you for any comments you may leave. I truly do appreciate the time you take to leave me one.

Guest Designer news!
Hello! I'm super excited to announce that I'm Guest Designing over at A2Z Scraplets, I feel very honoured to be joining them for a few months :) My first share went up today on their blog, which you can find HERE.
I was lucky enough to get to play with this fabulous stencil, as well as the various chipboard pieces :)
I do love my stencils & this, Fading Circular Dots Stencil, was a fun one to use with it's great design & ease of cleaning. I used it with Colour Blast paste...& really love the results.
For the 'always arrow' & 'happy' word, I simply coloured in the same orange paint as used in the background. For the flourish, I painted it with the Colour Blast paste then dimensional magic to give it extra gloss as well as the shimmer.
Pop over to their blog to see the fabulous creations from the DT & their other great chipboard designs. If you are a lover of chipboard, they also have a DT Call Out at the moment, closing July 30th...you'll find the details HERE
Thank you for stopping by. As always, a huge thank you for any comments you may leave me...I really do appreciate them, especially the time you take to leave me one.
LOL if only you could see me now...I have a cat snuggled on my lap, so my arms are at full length trying to type this out ;) They certainly rule the house!!!

July Kraft+ Challenge!
Hello July! With the new month comes new challenges & I loved this one over @ Kraft+...isn't it gorgeous!
Obviously we had to start with some sheet music & I was also drawn to the minty green in the cake, the flowers & the heart created by the sheet music. This is what I came up with...
I was lucky enough to be at retreat last weekend & my sister in law had this gorgeous mask from Stampin' Up, I simply had to play & knew instantly which layout it was perfect for. Along with Colour Blast paste in 'bling', I love the gold shimmery look of it. Teamed with various Kaisercraft Collections pieces, this layout came together reasonably quickly for me...yay!
Pop over HERE to check out the AMAZING creations from the rest of the team. I look forward to seeing what you come up with...have fun!

Flutterby Designs Guest Designer.
As I shared a few days ago, I was lucky enough to be Guest Designer over @ Flutterby Designs! As I previously said, I've been a huge fan of their products with the start of those simply gorgeous flairs, but the range just gets bigger & better...so much more to love. I feel so blessed to have this opportunity.
Here is my remaining two shares...
I love the wood veneers they have in store & with this fabulous circular design, I wanted to keep repeating those circles. With these super fun card designs, I simply had to use some fun photos of my girl. Haha she is one mad 'selfie' taker...pretty silly of her to do it on my phone ;)
For my final layout, I again used that fabulous word stencil this time with 'whipped spackle', which I lightly sprayed with mist & splattered with paint.
I love how defined the words are using the 'whipped spackle'...just love it! It dries super quick too, fabulous for us impatient crafters ;)
I used 'Colour Blast colour paste' on the wood veneer, colour & texture in one application...fabulous & the colour matched perfectly with these frames.
A huge thank you to Anita for having me, I had so much fun! Pop over HERE to check out the fabulous products :)

Kraft+ May Challenge!
Hello! Here is the truly amazing inspiration image for the Kraft+ May Challenge! I personally loved this challenge, my layout came together freakishly quickly for me. Sadly my mojo has vanished over the past few months, so was delighted at how easily the ideas flowed with this one. Granted I was super lucky having the perfect paper range on hand to work with it ;)
Here is the inspiration image...
Remember to let us know what inspired you, whether it was the colours, the design...whatever grabbed your eye.
For me, it was the circles & dots, the colours & the overall design of the image. Here is what I came up with...
For my background I grabbed my old Fancy Pants stamps & Dylusions paint...I love using Dylusions with stamps. As I said before, I was lucky enough to have the perfect paper & sticker range from Echo Park...an oldie, but it worked so well for this, especially that car sticker which I painted blue to match the colours already used. Here are some close-ups of the details.
Pop over HERE to see the seriously outstanding layouts from the rest of the team! I do hope you have fun with this one.

Guest Designer over @ Flutterby Designs!
Good afternoon, I'm very excited to say I'm Guest Designer over at Flutterby Designs! Today is my 1st reveal, watch for the coming days for more...I certainly had fun playing with these gorgeous products :)
I love stencils & especially love these word stencils, they are perfect for any type of background...so uplifting & positive. I added texture paste to paint, it was a little more liquid than I would have liked but I still love the 'not so perfect' results.
I adore the Flutterby Designs wood veneers, these I left natural.
Pop over to the blog HERE to take a look at the amazing layouts from the Design Team...truly inspirational!

April Kraft+ Challenge!
Good afternoon...a new month, a new challenge & this one is a beauty over @ Kraft+ :)
I love the combination of kraft with black & white, so was excited to give this challenge a go. Haha the 1st draft didn't exactly work out how I liked so started again. I think I'll make cards out of that background as I handpainted the background which took ages ;) it may not have worked out, but too good to throw away!
Here's my final take on the challenge using the quotes & words as inpiration.
& a close up...
I created the black background was created by painting onto my craft mat like it was a Gelli plate. I've used gesso with the rose stencil (Kaisercraft) & then texture paste with the word stencil (Flutterby Designs).
Pop over HERE to see the simply gorgeous creations from the rest of the team. I look forward to seeing what you come up with this challenge & hope you have as much creating as I did.
Thanks for stopping by. As always, a huge thank you for your lovely comments. I really do appreciate them, especially the time you take to leave me one x

Hello & Happy Easter!
Hello to any of my followers who may still be following this super slack blogger! I hope you are all enjoying your Easter weekend.
I've put the final touches to layouts that I created at retreat...hmm last month, or maybe the month before??? Haha I'm seriously losing track of time lately.
I kept this one super clean & simple to show of the use of the Heidi Swapp Minc machine. Sadly the shimmer doesn't really photograph well, but believe me...it's gorgeous ;) this was the light pink foil.
Here's a sneak to try & highlight the shimmer...love it!
This next one is using the gorgeous 7 Dots Studio papers, with the story behind a dear little rescue kitty.
Again with this final one, I've kept super clean & simple. Haha something different for me without using mists, stencils or stamps ;) I adore these papers from Websters Pages, 'Begin Anew' range.
Thanks for stopping by...your support is very much appreciated :)
