Good morning and hello Spring! Spring is my favourite season of the year and this month's colour challenge is one of my favourites too!
Kraft Plus Challenges September Challenge...
How gorgeous is this mood board, I love it, though as I said, I'm a huge fan of this colour combo. I loved creating with this challenge, which is good considering I've misplaced my original layout! So much for being organised, but here is take two...
This was when my son was absolutely obsessed with skulls, so this stencil from Flutterby Designs was perfect for this. I also used another stencil by Flutterby to replicate the strips in the mood board. I used some very old rub-on's for my words and the chipboard cogs to replicate the circles from the mood board.
As always, the DT have done an outstanding job with this challenge, you can see it HERE.
I hope you put this on your 'to do list' this month and share with us on the Kraft Plus Community Group.
Happy Scrapping!

July Kraft+ Challenge!
Hello July! How quickly is this year vanishing, eeeck! I had made a post on Facebook commenting on how I was struggling with the reality that my baby boy was turning 18! Haha I was quickly put in my place with others telling me about their children turning 30, 50 & so on ;) I guess the truth is, time moves fast for all of us, whatever stage of life we are in. That's what I do love about this craft...the ability to capture it in that moment, recording the memories of the hugely exciting to the most mundane of daily events.
Anyway, onto more exciting stuff...this month's gorgeous BOLLYWOOD Challenge over at Kraft Plus!
How stunning is this mood board, those colours & textures, just gorgeous! It was the bright colours that caught my eye, as did the henna tattoo, so I added some heat embossed gold mandalas to my background. I also used the gorgeous range from Cocoa Vanilla...love it!
I also thought this photo from last year's Scrap&Chat Retreat was pretty perfect too, there are some rather bright & bold personalities there ;) When you find your tribe, hold them tight!
Pop over to the Kraft Plus blog HERE to see the rest of the DT's stunning creations, each month they continue to amaze me! #bestteam
Thank you for stopping by & a huge thank you for any comments you may leave. I do appreciate the time you take to do so x

May Kraft+ Challenge
Hello, this month over at Kraft+ we have a fabulous SKETCH challenge...who doesn't love a good sketch to get the ball rolling. I personally love it when most of the thinking is taken away from me, so absolutely LOVED this month's challenge.
I'm loving art journaling at the moment, so wanted to adapt it for that, which I think worked well. I flipped the sketch around on it's side and stuck pretty close to the sketch, even pulling out the sewing machine for some stitching.
I used Dina Wakley's Collage Collective book, soooo loving that at the moment too, even bought myself a 2nd one. The figure here is actually from her chipboard packaging :)
Once again the DT have done an outstanding job with all their inspiration, I highly recommend checking out their creations over on the blog HERE.
I look forward to seeing what you do with this challenge.
Thank you so much for stopping by, I also thank you for any comments you may leave me :) I do appreciate them x

Kraft+ March Challenge
This month over at Kraft+ Challenges, we want you to embrace all things....
METALLIC AND JEWELS
with our 'Jewellery Box' challenge!
I had fun creating this layout, starting with creating the background with Ranger Gel Plates and Tim Holtz metallic distress paint. I got this very lush base, which sadly was impossible to photograph, but I do love it! I then heat embossed some AALL and Create border stamps by Louise Nelson, popping a jewel/bling in the centre of the circles.
Here are some close-ups...
Check out the Kraft+ blog HERE to see all the DT gorgeous creations.

February Challenge!
Hello, how quickly did January go!!! The bonus of a new month is always new challenges to inspire you, hopefully the challenge over at Kraft+ will inspire you to join in.
I had my layout all planned out in my head, as I had joined a Book Club last year, I was going to base it around that. When I sat down at my desk, I had bits and pieces laid out for a journal page which I was doing on the burlap page in my Dina Wakley journal alblum and I looked at it and thought..."that is the colour of kraft, could that pass as kraft?" Haha and from there my journal page morphed into what it is now, all because I had the tag with some dictionary paper on it.
It may be hard to see, but the first word on the dictionary page is Bridal and at the time, there was no real thought about it. Once I had picked my quote, I chose the bridal couple because 'heart' made me think of love and it went on from there.
Check out what the rest of the K+ Design Team did HERE, they always amaze me <3 p="">

Hello 2019!
Hello, how crazy to have another year behind us! I'm seriously hoping this one doesn't vanish as quickly as the last!
Over at Kraft+ this month, we want you to be inspired by INDIGENOUS ART! How gorgeous is this inspiration...
The last time I was at the Sydney Art Gallery looking at the Archibald Exhibit, I was taken by the Aboriginal art...the scale and detail was amazing! I wondered if I would have the paitence to do that. Haha I didn't really find out, as I completed my layout yesterday afternoon...it was definitely a 'quickie', as time was a real factor.
I started with a spotted stencil & some paint to match my photo. Then with Posca pens, dotted around a few of the spots. I'm tempted to have another go at this challenge, we'll have to see. As usual, I don't seem to get the time I would like at my scrap desk...it is one of my goals for 2019, fingers crossed I can get myself better organised and allow myself more 'me' time.
You must pop over to the Kraft+ blog, as the girls have done an outstanding job as usual. We also have two amazing Guest Designers joining us this month...it's a must see :)
