March K+ Challenge!

Hello, once again, we have another month behind us...time is as usual, flashing past us fast!

The good news of a new month, is a new challenge and Kraft+ Challenges have another beauty for you this month.

Who doesn't love a frame or two ;)

I have to confess, art play has been very limited for me of late...life has simply been crazy, so once again, this month was quick and simple, which means art journaling. Super easy doing quick and simply when using Dina Wakley's 6x6 Kraft journal...it's almost cheating! But as long as you are creating, that's the main thing.

After creating a background with a mix of paint, gloss sprays and stamping, I used one of Dina Wakely's chipboard shapes to trace out the shape on her collage collective cardstock. I'm hoping she brings these chipboard shapes out in a stencil, as love using them. I used very old 'slide' frames overlapping around my girl.

I'm hoping with a bit more time, I'll get to play on this challenge again, as I have loads of frames...it's probably about time I used them.

What will you do with this challenge? I do hope you'll join us. Pop over HERE to see the gorgeous inspiration from the rest of the team. They amaze me each and every month.

Happy crafting!

ArtStacks Design play.

Hello all! I almost forgot to share this....it was my turn again, over on the ArtStacks Design blog.

With a stenciled background, I added cut-out shapes using various stencils with the cardstock from the 'Lorraine Haight Moraine BackStack'. Adding the tissue paper title of 'Don't forget to play' and the final addition of the flowers/leaves from the mixed media paper in the 'Trees and Leaves #1' pack, which I left white. Though this paper lends itself perfectly for colouring with paint or watercolours.

Here's a close-up of my page...

Make sure you pop over to the ArtStacks blog to see the gorgeous creations from the rest of the team, they are amazing...you can find them, HERE.

ArtStacks creation.

Hello all, it's my turn on the ArtStacks blog.

How gorgeous is this poppy paper from the 'Anemones and Friends' Corestack. I had previously punched circles in this piece, it was planned, hence the spacing. It's so pretty, it's nice to use as a bigger piece. I then added the leaves from the 'Trees and Leaves #1' pack, with the final addition of an 'altered ancestor' from the 'Artist Range' by Lorraine Haight Moraine.

Thank you for stopping by. Make sure you check out the other fabulous ArtStacks creations from the rest of the team HERE

February Kraft+ Challenge

Hello, I'm a little late this month, with my layout inspiration for the February Kraft+ Challenge...

This month is about being INSPIRED BY FRUIT, so perfect for Summer...very fresh & luscious!

For my layout, I've obviously gone with lemons...it certainly helped that I had these gorgeous 'Mediterranean' stamps and paper from Kaszazz, which made the project super easy. You can find this range and the full Kaszazz range on my Web Store HERE. But I also love lemons, especially as lemon meringue...it's Shineshine on a plate!

Pop over HERE to see the rest of the amazing creations from the DT...they simply are delish!

I do hope you'll join us this month.

Thanks for stopping by.

Kaszazz January Release

Hello all, have you seen the gorgeous new release from Kaszazz...it's certainly a gorgeous one.

You can view all the new products through my WebStore HERE, grab a cuppa & enjoy!

I'm thrilled to say that I was asked to create some projects for the Kaszazz Team Training Day, using their Serenity Range and was lucky enough to have them published, yay!

Here's the card for the Make & Take, using a combination of stamps & stencil.

I had so much fun creating these cards, so perfect for double-sided papers and these papers are worth showing off.

Here is the double page layout, again using the Serenity Range papers, stamps, stencils, stickers and chipboard. Did I say how much I loved this range ;)

Thank you for sharing my excitement.

ArtStacks play

Hello! I hope this finds you well & hopefully had some time to create in the new year. Luckily for me, I have...yay! Today I'm sharing some creative play using the gorgeous designs from ArtStacks...

Here I've used the fabulous tissue paper from the 'Trees and Leaves #1" pack. I went with a multi-coloured green background, with highlights of blue stenciling. Then I stuck the trees and the quote down. I had previous cut-outs from the "Lorraine Haight Moraine BackStack" which I added, before adding the boy from "Lorraine Haight Moraine Corestack"

Here is a close-up of the single page...

Thank you for stopping by. Make sure you pop over to the ArtStacks blog to see the other DT's, including Guest Designer's, amazing creations. You can find it HERE.

Happy crafting!

Happy New Year!

Hello 2022! I hope you all had a fabulous start to the new year, may it be a better one than the last!

One thing you can count on this year, is more fabulous challenges from Kraft+ Challenges <3

This month we'll have you DREAMING OF TRAVEL ;)

I had it easy with my layout, starting with the fabulous 'Destination' range from Kaszazz...too easy!

I really wanted to play with the 'card edges die' and thought the arrows cut-out would look good, originally with the Kraft showing through, but ended up going with a strip of the matted cardstock for contrast. I stamped 'Passport to Paradise' directly on my photo, as I was thinking this shot was taken at Carins Airport, on the way to Fiji, haha it turns out it was on the way to Japan.

As always, if there is anything of interest here, you can have a better look on my Web Store which you'll find HERE. Don't hesitate to reach out if I can help with anything.

To see all the gorgeous creations from the rest of the DT, pop over HERE to find the full Kraft+ blog post. We have 2 new ladies joining us this month...all very exciting! I do hope you'll join us this month, we are looking forward to a virtual world tour ;) I wonder how many places we can stop in at?

Thank you for stopping by.
