My take on this...
This photo is of my beautiful Grandma, it's just sad that they didn't take photos of the couple together??? I would have loved a photo of the event with my Pop as well. Though she told me this wasn't actually taken on their wedding day, but afterwards. It makes you appreciate the portability of cameras today...haha these days with phone cameras, we miss nothing ;)
I adored my Grandma...she was the one that took care of me when I was sick, she was an excellent baker, making the most delicious treats & she loved to sew...& best of all, she always made me feel loved! Because she was an avid dressmaker, I've included the thread, lace & dressmakers pattern behind the photo.
My handmade item is once again the flair from Flutterby Designs...sorry, I will try to come up with something different next time ;) but I do love them!

Just soooo [sew???!!!] lovely.....it's actually quite exquisite & the touches of lace and the vintage look are perfect! Yeah.....they often got 'dressed up' later for their photos...good excuse to wear the dress again, eh???!!!
