A bit of a catch up...

...actually, it's probably more a massive catch up! I've been super slack with my blog this year. While I've been super quiet, I have been scrapping, just not getting the time to photograph & share.

Here is some of what I've been up to...

This one is actually from last year, using water-colours on water-colour paper with a Crafters Workshop stencil, the gorgeous chipboard from Imaginarium Designs. A bit of Louise inspiration with the use of tissue paper behind the photo.

Again, more Louise inspired scrapping with this one, though this is actually more a 'scraplift'. I couldn't find the original on her blog, I may have seen it on Facebook. Again, this one was started at retreat, just for the stamped Prima girl, which then sat around for ages till seeing Lou's layout...of course her layout is simply 'outstanding' & that's not to put myself down, but I'm not as meticulous & precise as Louise. Her attention to detail is seriously amazing <3 :="" a="" anyway="" at="" attention="" beading="" but="" close="" come="" detail.="" doesn="" few="" first="" had="" hand="" have="" her="" hers="" i="" it="" love="" my="" next="" of="" p="" privilege="" retreat="" seen="" seriously="" sitting="" so="" t="" the="" times="" to="" ve="" work="">

I love Dylusions Paint, they are especially good on black as they don't lose their intensity. I've used them with a Prima stencil. I kept the background fairly simple as I didn't want to compete with the photo. My journaling is on the tag just peaking out from behind the photo. I was so blessed to work with these girls on my very first DT, I'm even more blessed to still be able to call them all friends! This craft has brought so many blessings <3 p="">

We'll end with a super silly one...haha gotta love 'snapchat' filters to fill in the boredom, we were fun while driving for a couple of hours. Again I've used Dylusions paints on my background, which I mixed with texture paste to use with this 'Flutterby Designs' stencil. I do find Dylusions paint with texture paste is still a little runny for my liking, so for the triangles just sponged the paint on through the stencil.
Thanks for stopping by...as always, a huge thank you for any comments you may need me. I seriously do appreciate each & every one of them x
Happy scrapping!

Kraft+ Challenge...

I'm sure you have all seen this month's 'clearly' brilliant challenge over at Kraft+ ;)

This is my take on the challenge...

I started this layout at retreat, borrowing a stencil & pearl colour blast paste to replicate the bubbles on a piece of packaging. I loved the results...unfortunately after sticking it all down & waiting to photograph my layout, the packaging bubbled & warped in the heat of my scraproom...oops! The downfall of having my space in the sun-room. It's a glorious room to scrap in, but I must remember not to leave layouts on my desk! My other clear elements are very old 'Bo-Bunny' clear arrows & brackets.
Pop over HERE to see the amazing creations for the other DT, seriously gorgeous!
