Scrap Around the World Challenge!

I've been watching & wanting to join in the gorgeous challenges over @ Scrap Around the World for a while now...I can finally say I've done just that! :) This month is a big one over there, with huge birthday celebrations...loads of fabulous prizes, simply WOW!

The inspiration was gorgeous...& here's what I created with it...

I loved the glittery gold displayed on the balloons & the gold doilies in the inspiration. Isn't it lucky I had just bought some gold glittery embossing powder ;) worked perfectly! I kept this clean of flowers & bows, as my girl isn't a real girly girl, so it never feels right putting those things on her layouts...even if the temptation is there.
Here's a close up of that glittery doily...I love it!

Good afternoon, I'm back again today with the challenge for May from the 123 Challenge Blog!

Here's what I did with the colour; green, the word "time" & the technique of journaling....

A close up of my embossed title...Louise introduced me to this gorgeous stuff during one of her classes, I love the molten effect it has :)

Sassy Scrapper May Mood Board

Good morning all! Today I'm sharing my layout created for the Sassy Scrapper May Mood Board. I instantly fell in love with their inspiration...loved the colours, the flowers, the quote...everything! It went straight to the top of my 'to do' list :)

Isn't it gorgeous!!! That washed rainbow caught my eye, which was perfect as I had just received the new watercolour pencils from Kaszazz...haha any excuse to play! :)

A close up of the stamped flowers...inspiration for these came from Catie & her recent stamped flowers. I believe these were the 1st flower stamps I had ever bought, many, many years ago! It was great to pull them out again & give them new life :)

Show Us Your Stuff!

Hello & welcome to the 1st of May! I love a new month with fresh opportunities & challenges to get the mojo happening, hopefully you do too.
This month over @ "Show Us Your Stuff", we have a fabulous sketch, created by DT member Amanda Hartman...as always, you need to include a handmade item on your layout, & we would like to see FLOWERS (it is mothers day this month after all!) Your flowers don't have to be handmade.

I only have a sneak of my layout for you...the full reveal later in the month.
