The mid month reveals are up at both KIU & 123 Challenge, so pop over to both to see more of the girls gorgeous creations!
This means I can now share my layout for the 'vintage' challenge over at KIU. This was so out of my comfort zone, but I loved creating it! This is a photo of my dear Grandma on her wedding day...well, the day after, that's apparently what they did back then. I had saved this & few more photos from the bin as she didn't think anyone would be interested. She also wasn't overly happy with them because her bouquet had withered, being the day after & there was no photos with the groom??!!, but I still love them!
Thanks for stopping by...as always, a huge thank you for all your lovely comments! I really do appreciate each & every one of them, especially the time you take to leave me one x
Happy scrapping!

Happy Mothers Day!
I hope everyone enjoyed their Mothers Day yesterday & your families suitably spoilt you!
My spoiling started with breakfast in bed...including pink love heart pikelets, all made by my 11 yr old son...clever boy even managed to get his sister to clean up ;)
I remained banished from the kitchen while my daughter prepared her surprise...one very delicious & super sweet watermelon cake! :) I feel totally blessed! The best bit for me was my kids excitement & pride over what they had done! Sadly, my eldest was sick, so we simply delighted in her keeping her germs to herself...don't think she has though :(
Whilst being banished from the kitchen, I managed some scrapping :) Again, in an attempt to use up some of my old patterned paper, this is what I created...
Thanks for stopping by...as always, a huge thank you for all your lovely comments! I really do appreciate each & every one of them & I especially appreciate the time you take to leave me one x
Happy scrapping!
PS. Have you got your entry in yet for this months 123 Challenge or Kraft It Up???? ;)

Happy Mail Love!
I was super excited when asked to join in a feature on the Scrapbooking Memories blog with some Fancy Pants Designs Artist Edition stencils! I absolutely love the layouts that Chantal & Michelle created...pop over & have a look!
I've also had another acceptance, so don't have as many layouts to share with you! Still love that 'happy mail' feeling, I can't imagine it ever getting old :)
This layout was created with the intention of using up some old patterned paper & old pre-made backgrounds. I have a habit of creating backgrounds, putting them aside & then forgetting about them...it's only when I realised I'd run out of white & kraft cardstock that I thought to have a look ;)
I love this photo I snapped of the baby giraffe at Taronga Zoo...the title kind of says it all!
This next layout was created a couple of weeks ago, playing with that gorgeous Distress Paint :)
I love the brightness of this paint...I certainly had a lot of fun playing with this one! A very old pic of my baby girl too...can't believe she'll be 18 this year!!! :O Again using up old scraps.
Thanks for stopping by...as always, a huge thank you for all your lovely comments! x I do appreciate the time you take to leave me one & they do bring a smile to my day.

Hello May!
Seriously...where did April go? I'm hoping to get more of a chance to 'play' this month...wish me luck! ;)
A new month brings new challenges...
Over @ 123 Challenge blog it's
I was super lucky that my mother was about to go on a balloon flight, so I hit her up for some photos. She snapped some brilliant ones, thanks mum!...here's my take on the challenge.
I used my new Distress paint to create the background & thanks to one amazing friend who lent me her balloon stamps from Kaisercraft...I had fun creating this.
Check out the other DT's absolutely brilliant creations here. I look forward to seeing your take on this :)
Over @ KIU the challenge is VINTAGE!
Again some absolutely amazing inspiration from the DT girls, here...you simply must check them out! This one took me way out of my comfort zone, but I loved it...that's what makes these challenges so fab!
It's only a teaser from me, my full reveal is up mid month.
Sadly the Distress Stickles doesn't show up on the butterflies here, but it is rather nice in real life.
Get your entries in for both challenges...there are some great prizes up for grabs, good luck!
Thank you for stopping by...as always, a huge thank you for all your lovely comments! They really do mean the world to me & I appreciate the time you take to leave me one x
