WW1 Creative Team Call.

White With 1 are having a Creative Team call!!!
Sadly my term ends next month :( I've absolutely loved my time with the talented team & Mel & highly recommend to anyone out there interested in trying out...to do so, you'll love it!

Scrap the Boys!

Here is my layout for this months Scrap the Boys challenge, where the criteria was recycling...to include some 'boy related' packaging, etc. I used a clothing tag from a recent shirt purchase, which is simply 'fitting' on a boy layout! ;)

I also included a 'Uno' card & playing card, which also worked rather well with the colour scheme & as my son is 8 here ;) Misting again, with a very neglected Tim Holtz barbwire mask, & then I cut part of it to slip the photo underneath.


Loving this wet weather...perfect excuse to stay in & scrap, while the kids 'veg out' while watching TV & playing computer games. The biggest mistake I made was reorganising my scrap space...haha after creating a bigger mess, I discovered a really embarrassing amount of alphas & a whole host of things I'd forgotten about!!! ;)

Kraft It Up!

This months challenge over @ KIU was to include 3 extra kraft items to your base...mine include, kraft patterned wrapping paper (I simply loved it, so kept it to use), bracket, tag on flower & paper bag to hold journaling tag. The colour combo came from the wrapping paper...it's certainly not a combo that I would have normally used, but rather like how it turned out!
The photo is one that my daughter took of herself in the mirror whilst 'testing out' the camera.

White With 1.

The April challenge over @ WW1 is up :)

White + Grey + Tags & Tabs

I have to confess, grey is not a colour I would normally choose to use, but I enjoyed digging out my neglected grey inks & paper to put this together. My glimmer mist background was a mix of black & chalkboard white.

Last month I won a fabulous Imaginarium Designs chipboard pack from the lovely Debbie. Here is a close up of one of the pieces which I've heat embossed it in silver for my title.

Happy Easter!!!

Hoping everyone is enjoying the Easter weekend! :) I've certainly enjoyed some scrapping time to finish off a couple of layouts...
Mal's sketch for this months Scrap The Girls challenge...loved this sketch, had to tackle it again ;) I've got some personal journaling on the tag behind which flips out to reveal underneath. Just a little tip here...don't leave your layout to dry after misting where your son could accidently spray it with water!!! Took me a while to work out what happened, but it's probably something I'll only notice ;)

This next mphoto has been sitting on my desk for a few weeks, so it's good to finally find some time to create with it. Thank you again to Lisa & her family for taking it :)

Scrap The Girls!

The April challenge over @ Scrap The Girls is this gorgeous sketch by Malinda! It is 8x11", but you can do 12x12" if you really need to ;)
This is my take on the challenge...

Typical me...wasn't completely happy with it (think the photos ended up bigger than I had visioned) & am currently working on another layout ;)
